Zest-itⓇ Damar Retouching Varnish

Zest-it Damar Retouching Varnish is Gum Damar dissolved naturally in Zest-it Oil Paint Dilutant and Brush Cleaner, it is then rested before filtering to give a clear bright varnish.

Ideal for lifting dull or sunken patches in an oil painting, to give back that 'wet' look, which assists in colour matching of a work in progress. Apply in dry airless conditions using a soft brush with small even strokes.

Depending on the ambient condition the Zest-it Retouching Varnish will be touch dry in 1 to 2 hours. Clean brushes in Zest-it Oil Paint Dilutant and Brush Cleaner.

This is a light varnish that can also be used on wood, stone, acrylic and plastic surfaces to give a protective finish.
